Our Story
Après Dermatology was founded on the belief that exceptional skin care shouldn't feel like a trip to the doctor's office. It should feel welcoming and personal, with the confidence of true expertise and none of the sterility.
After five years caring for patients in Park City and Heber through a large hospital system, Dr. Michaelis saw what people here needed more of: time, attention and clear answers. Après was created to provide exactly that.
We’ve built two practices, each suited to how people actually live on the Wasatch Back: a full-service medical dermatology and cosmetic center in Heber City, and a concierge practice in Park City focused on early skin cancer detection. Training and experience matter, but so does knowing the place you practice in — and we believe our community deserves both.

Meet the Providers
Dr. Michaelis earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic. He sees patients at both our Heber City and Park City locations, with particular focus on annual skin screenings, mole evaluation, and skin cancer detection and care.
Andie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to helping patients understand and confidently manage their skin health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Weber State University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix.
Andie has built her career in outpatient clinical care, and has gained broad experience in dermatology, pediatrics, podiatry and wound care. Her diverse medical background—combined with her own experience managing chronic skin concerns—ultimately inspired her to focus her practice on dermatology.
Andie is dedicated to giving patients the time, education and individualized support they need to understand their diagnosis and feel confident in their treatment plan. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their care.
